Today, we once again packed up our motor coaches and drove 39 miles to the Natural Bridge KOA campground, in Natural Bridge, Virginia. It was an easy drive south on U.S. Route 11 and I-81. This is the fourth of our planned five campgrounds during the caravan.
Our planned tour of the Natural Bridge was rescheduled to Monday afternoon because of a heavy rain that fell during our late lunch and the strong possibility of additional rain later. Being an outdoor activity, the caravan leaders decided not to risk being caught in a downpour. In lieu of visiting the Natural Bridge, many of the group went to Layne's Country Store, an activity that was scheduled for Monday.
